How the league works:

1. Each player will sign up individually (free agent). Pairing-up is not recommended but will be allowed for certain circumstances.
2. A "try-out" session will be held on the first week. This is a crucial time for the captains (the one who will be drafting the team) to see
your performance so you can be drafted for the level you belong. If you don't show up for the try-out session, no guaranteed that
you will be selected for the level you'd like to play.
3. Once teams are drafted, the captains will contact the players for details. Typical details may consist of:
    a. Introduction

    b. Strategies
    c. Possible line-ups
    d. Possible individual roles
4. Following tryout, 7 season matches (7:00pm (earliest), 8:00pm, or 9:00pm (latest))
    - 3 straight sets (4-25 capping at 27)
    - (2) 30 seconds timeouts per team per set
    - Required playing time for each player is (50%
or 1.5 sets). This is managed by the captains to ensure each player is getting playing
      time.
5. Finishing the season with 2
weeks of playoff matches (single elimination).
     - Best 2 out of 3 sets
            * Points starts 4-25
            * Set 1 & 2 caps at 27
            * Deciding Set (Set 3) is 0 to 15 win by 2, no cap
NOTE: If not enough time, the FINALS will be 1 set 0-25, no cap (win by 2)

Rules:

1. We will be following USAV rules with a little of NFHS rules

    - both captains of match will need to be agreed and should be decided before the match (to avoid disputes)
    - different gender is allowed as long as the captains agree
    - substitution shall follow USAV/NFHS rules (same person same position with the exception of the libero)
NOTE: subbing in a clockwise direction (side/sides) is NOT recommended (Reason: This does not follow USAV/NFHS substitution
rules. However, if teams choose to rotation in this fashion to give equal playing time, this will apply during the current set:
                            1. Can't disruption the rotation (meaning if some gets hurt or for whatever reason, the team will have to play with a
hole for the remainder of the set.

    - If you strongly disagree with a call/action made by the officials, please email the host in writing. It will be addressed. Please allow
      48 hours.
2. Some officials are still learning (especially in the lower levels). We ask that you be patient with them as they grow.

Captains:

You have a tough responsibility. Please ensure:
1. You play everyone that are present at least 50% or equivalent (1.5 sets in total time)
2. Plan your line-ups before your match. Officials will not wait for you to figure out your line-up
3. Please consider the input of your teammates
4. When there's a conflict on the court, you will make the decision. If an agreeable solution cannot be achieved off the court, the host
can get involved. This is to avoid total control by the captain.

4. May be asked to leave (court, team, premise, or league) if behavior is determined to be unacceptable
